I lost 1.8 pounds this week. Yay!!
Pros: I’m definitely learning to make better choices especially when eating out. I chose grilled chicken and broccoli at Carrabba’s on Saturday instead of the heaping bowl of carbs.
Cons: I’m still stress/emotional eating. I know that I’m doing it, I know why I’m doing it, but when I’m overly stressed or upset eating is my coping mechanism of choice.
On the overall plus side, I’m down 13.6 pounds which is just over 5% of my starting weight. Hopefully I’ll be able to continue making good choices and eventually learn some new ways of coping that don’t involve eating.
