Cinco de Mayo

I learned something new today. Cinco de Mayo is not actually the celebration of Mexican Independence; it is the celebration of the anniversary of the Battle of Puebla during the French invasion of Mexico in 1862. But have a shot of tequila anyway.

Side Note: Mexico’s actual Independence Day is celebrated on September 16.
So there’s your mini history lesson for today.
